Quercus robur

Quercus robur è un albero deciduo, esteso, con corteccia grigio marrone percorsa da fenditure. Le foglie, di colore verde scuro, virano al rosso-marrone in autunno, sono lunghe fino a 15 cm sono ovato-oblunghe con bordi arrotondati. Discreti amenti giallo-verde tra le foglio giovani.

Quercus robur is a large deciduous tree developing a magnificent, broad crown; the leaves with shallow, rounded lobes, turning reddish-brown in autumn (to 15cm long). Inconspicuous yellow-green catkins among the young leaves.
