Tilia henryana

Tilia henryana è un albero dal portamento espanso, crescita lenta. Le foglie largamente ovate, bronzee da giovani poi verde brillante, molto particolari per la evidente dentatura che ne caratterizza marcatamente i bordi. Fioritura a grappoli bianco-crema molto decorativa ma soprattutto molto profumata, sugli esemplari maturi in tarda estate.

Tilia henryana is a spreading tree, with huge, ovate leaves which are edged with bristle-like teeth and an eye-catching silvery-pink colour, as they unfold in spring. The second flush of growth, in late summer is also silvery-pink and this contrasts beautifully with the mature green leaves. Small clusters of creamy-white, fragrant flowers that are borne in profusion on mature plants in late summer.
